Long Overdue Catch Up

Haven't been in here for an age.. Over 2 years judging from the last post being Finley's second birthday.  He's four now!!

Well the showing has stopped.  We're just an ordinary family again.  Fin gave us some real behavioural problems and it culminated in having both boys castrated to calm the building tensions.  We had taken independent advice from a couple of behaviourists and the vets.  They all agreed that if one was to be done then they both should be done.  Poor Beau always seems to get the fall out.

That all happened 18 months or so ago and it seems to have worked because most of the bad behaviour has gone.  Both boys are good together and very loving.  Sometimes not as obedient as we'd like on walks, typically terriers.  Only come back when it suits them, especially if either of them has put up a pheasant or a hare.

Bottom line is that we are enjoying them as pets and they are having a great life.  Its all good!
