When Cassie came to stay

Quite a busy bank holiday weekend which culminated with a very unexpected guest. Fin and Beau had been pampered and cooed over all week due to Kirsti coming down from Scotland on a visit. Claire stopped over at our place too... and therefore Jack. So it was a nice relaxing time all round. On Saturday evening we had originally planned to cook a meal, but the weather held up so well that we wheeled out the BBQ and fired it up for the first time this year. Kirsti had gone home on Friday afternoon, but Claire and Jerry were to join us after about 6:00pm and Bridget and Ian turned up too.

About half way through a pleasant evening we got a phone call from Debs asking if we could help out. She was over in Ireland and coming back the next day with a rescue dog that needed to be taken over to a sanctuary near Boston. There will be much more about this episode later along with some pictures... when I get time to write it all down.
